Hi Guys,
Can any one tell me their birth stories on vbac. I have been told y my doctor that as soon as labour starts i will have to go straight to hospital and be monitored and prepared as though i will be having a c-section just in case anything goes wrong. Is this your experience?
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Marie

Hiya,
I had a vbac with my second baby - and im so glad that i did.
I didnt actually go into hospiatal until i was in pain although i was advised to go in when contractions were 10 mins apart - however they were so irregular that i just held on untill i needed gas and air!
I did have to be continuously monitered. Some hospitals have ctg machines with a long cable so that you can be a little bit mobile - you can ask your midwife about this.
They also stick a canular in your hand, so that if you need to go in for a section they can get you in quickly!
I had a quick labour and birth with the vbac, and im so glad i did.
My stories are dotted around everywhere on the internet! I recently wrote some info on vbac on a website http://www.ciao.co.uk/Members_Adv...easerean_Sections__Review_5749434
This has got my birth stories on it, and some info!! _________________ x x lucy x x
