Which school? My eldest is going to be starting the final year at primary school in september, and i will have to put his name down for the junior school around that time too. Thing is, the junior school which automaticly goes with his primary isnt as good as a school a bit closer to us. Im not sure weather to send him to a different school, or keep him with his friends. Also, selfishly, ive made good friends at school too, and i dont want to loose touch with them - which is bound to happen if he moves.
What do you think?

dificult decision!!
another point to think about as well as the school being good is how well your son will cope if he is seperated from his friends and which school they are gonna be going to???
I know they are only young and make new friends but he mgiht be more settled if he goes to one that they are going to, however if thaty school is rubbish there are definately better things to think about.
luckily my kids go to a primary school which is both a infant and junior school and I am very happy with how they are doing there so dont have the problem myself but what a position to be in.
Good luck with your decision making, im sure you will make the right one!!!

so is your lo's school not 2 seperate infants and juniors then? like one school from reception to 11? Ours is 2 seperate schools but in the same building!
I grew up outside of a city so we had a totally different school system. My primary was 4-9, then a middle school of 9-13 then the final one was 13 - 16 or 18. Took me ages to get my head around the whole infants and juniors thing!
